Family History: Roy Adam Morris is the son of a Starfleet Commodore and a Professor of American History at the University of Florida. He is the eldest of 3 siblings.

Background: Roy Morris was born in Burlington, Vermont and moved to Winter Park, Florida at the age of 5. He has been fascinated with starships ever since his early childhood. A third Generation Starfleet Officer, he knew early on in his life that he wanted to make history among the stars. He was so determined that he earned his shuttle pilot's license at the age of 14. He entered Starfleet Academy in 2260. During his academy years, he studied Federation & Earth History and Starship Operations. Morris became part of the Academy Flight Team as a freshman. After graduation in 2264, he served as a shuttle pilot onboard the USS Lexington (NCC-1709).
