Headquartered in the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, Farragut Films, Inc. specializes in producing feature-length films, vignettes, trailers, and others videos in a variety of genres. We have established partnerships with other film companies, to include CGI, special effects, make-up effects, sound mix/effects, and post production entities. 

Films
Farragut Films, in association with NEO f/x (www.neo-fx.com) produces Starship Farragut, which is based on the original series of Star Trek. Starship Farragut episodes may be viewed and/or downloaded at their web site. ( www.starshipfarragut.com)

News
Currently, Farragut Films is in post production on their first and second vignettes (Crew Logs) entitled "Just Passing Through", and "A Rock and a Hard Place".  Both films are slated to première in November of 2008.  The second episode of Starship Farragut entitled, "For Want of a Nail", premièred at the University of Maryland's Hoff Theater on 10/13/2007 and was released on the Internet on 12/03/2007. 

Farragut Films is also working in association with NEO f/x to produce the return of animated Star Trek after thirty-five years with "Starship Farragut: The Animated Episodes".  These "Special Editions" will be produced in the same style as "Star Trek: The Animated Series", produced by Filmation in the 1970's.
