Power Source Showing at Animation Supercon

(03 October, 2009) "Power Source", the first episode of Starship Farragut, The Animated Episodes will be shown at ANIMATION SUPERCON: South Florida's Animation, Cartoon, Anime & Comic Book Festival this weekend.

ANIMATION SUPERCON is a celebration of Animation, Cartoons, Anime & Comic Books featuring guest voice actors, industry guests, cosplayers, artists, writers, panels, Q&A's, films & shorts, costume & cosplay contests, vendors, parties, anime, workshops, video gaming and more. The convention runs October 2 - 4, 2009 at the Doubletree Miami Mart Hotel and Convention Center, 711 NW 72nd Ave, in Miami, Florida.

"Power Source" tells the story of Captain Carter and the crew of the Farragut in search of the Starship Azrael under the command of Captain Aaron Glenn. When they find Glenn, they discover that he and his crew are under the influence of alien technology. “Power Source" was written by Thomas J. Scott.

See Captain Carter and the crew of the Starship Farragut in "Power Source", the first new animated Star Trek to be produced since Filmation wrapped production of the original series in 1974. Showtimes are Saturday, 8:00PM to 8:30PM, and Sunday, 4:00PM to 4:30PM in Panel Room B.
