01/20/09:  Secured a new home for permanent, standing sets in St. Marys, Georgia.

01/11/09:  Production meeting.  Crew Log 3 "Hair of the Dog" enters pre-production.

12/12/08:   Internet release of Crew Log 2, "A Rock and a Hard Place" .

11/22/08:  Crew Logs 1 & 2 Premiere at the Hoff Theater, University of Maryland.

11/09/08:   Principal photography begins for Parodies Project.

11/08/08:   Turbolift set construction completed.

10/01/08:  Construction begins on the Transporter Room and Turbolift sets.

07/11/08 - 07/13/08: Principle and supporting cast members attend "Shore Leave" in Hunt Valley Md.

06/29/08:   Exterior filming for “A Rock and a Hard Place”.

06/21/08:   Exterior filming for “A Rock and a Hard Place”.

06/20/08:   Mark Hildebrand addressed staff of Strategic Communications Group on creativity in communications.

06/14/08:   Filming “A Rock and a Hard Place” AND "Just Passing Through" shuttlecraft scenes.

06/08/08:   Full scale shuttlecraft interior set construction completed.

06/07/08:   Holly Bednar, Michael Bednar and Mark Hildebrand attend River Arts Festival in Indianhead, MD.

06/01/08:   “For Want of a Nail” wins "Best Fan Film, 2008" at Wrath of Con Film Festival.

05/30/08 – 06/12/08:   Michael Bednar and Mark Hildebrand attend "Wrath of Con" Film Festival.

05/24/08:  McDonough-Sepan Wedding. 

05/17/08:  Filming continues for “A Rock and a Hard Place”. 

05/10/08:  Principal photography begins for “A Rock and a Hard Place”. 

05/03/08:  Rehearsal and location work for “A Rock and a Hard Place”. 

04/20/08:  Rehearsal for “A Rock and a Hard Place”. 

04/11/08 - 4/13/08:  John Broughton, Mark Hildebrand, Michael Struck attend "Grand Slam" in Burbank, CA. 

03/30/08:  Location scouting for “A Rock and a Hard Place”. 

03/22/08:  Kick-off meeting for “A Rock and a Hard Place”. 

02/15/08 - 02-17/08: Principle and supporting cast members attend "Farpoint" in Hunt Valley Md. 

12/03/07:  Internet release of  Episode II, "For Want of a Nail".
 
10/13/07:  Debuted Episode II, "For Want of a Nail" to live audience at the University of Maryland's Hoff Theater.

08/25/07:  Principle photography begins and wraps on our first vignette, "Just Passing Through".  Footage in post-production.

08/10/07:  Pre-production of Episode III, "Fathers and Sons" begins.  Full scale shuttlecraft interior set under constructrion.

05/27/07:  Principle photography wraps on Episode II, "For Want of a Nail".   Episode in post-production.

05/26/07 - 05/27/07: Filming of Episode II, "For Want of a Nail" interior shipboard scenes in New York.

05/12/07 - 05/13/07: Filming of Episode II, "For Want of a Nail" interior shipboard scenes in New York.

03/03/07:  Filming Episode II, "For Want of a Nail" interior and exterior scenes, Smallwood State Park.

02/23/07:  Internet release of "The Captaincy".

02/17/07:  Debuted "The Captaincy" to live audience at the Farpoint Convention in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

02/11/07:  Filming Episode II, "For Want of a Nail" exterior location scenes, Mt Clavert Historical Site, Upper Malboro, Maryland.

11/11/06-11/12/06:  Filming Episode II, "For Want of a Nail" interior planet-side scenes, Indian Head, Maryland.

09/02/06:  Begin filming Episode II, "For Want of a Nail".   

08/01/06:  Begin pre-production of Episode II, "For Want of a Nail".   

07/16/06:  Film the two remaining scenes involving ship interiors.

07/09/06:  Re-shoot footage in woods (script changes).

06/2006:  Set construction begins of the Captain's Quarters for the two remaining scenes.

05/29/06:  90% Filming complete, two scenes of "The Captaincy" remain.  Footage in post-production.

04/28/06:  Filming begins on the pilot episode, "The Captaincy".

03/10/06:  Starship Farragut Joins Star Trek New Voyages; First Star Trek Fan Film Crossover.

12/31/05:  Series Trailer completed. Official premier of the Trailer will coincide with Farpoint Convention in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

11/06/05 - 01/31/06:  Pre-Production and preparation of pilot episode, "The Captaincy".

11/06/05 - 12/30/05:  Editing, CGI and post production of the Series Trailer.

11/05/05:  Filming set for Series Trailer interior shots.

10/01/05:  Filming conducted for Series Trailer exterior shots at Mason Neck State Park in Lorton, Virginia.

07/11/05 - 09/30/05:  Bi-Monthly Production Meetings, Sewing Parties, Recruiting Key Cast & Crew Positions, Purchasing Camera Equipment, etc.

07/09/05 - 07/10/05:  Official launch of Starship Farragut at Shore Leave 2005 convention held at Hunt Valley, Maryland (Baltimore). Met with Executive Producer of New Voyages, as well as Dennis Bailey with Starship Exeter. Representatives of SF attended a fan-film workshop/panel discussion. Commissioned THE COLLECTIVE (ship model society) to build a 22” miniature of the Farragut for filming purposes (1/650 scale of the Constitution-Class Starship). An 18” miniature of the Farragut was previously built by Michael Bednar.

07/01/05 - 07/04/05:  Built several props that will be used for the series.

06/26/05:  Had first meeting with Paul R. Sieber and worked on the details for the corridor (set construction), as well as details for distinguishing this fan-based series.

06/24/05:  Although the idea of a fan film had been in my mind since the Starship Exeter and New Voyages, I never thought I would start one this year! Starship Farragut (SF) starts to come to fruition by gaining a few members and starting to get the business aspects together. SF had been in the slow development phase for about six months at this point in time.
